About A.S.H.

A.S.H. Productions was started in 2009 by two teenagers, Anthony Hillanbrand who was 13 at the time and Sabrina Hillanbrand who was 15 at the time. The two cousins began to produce their first show in March. Neighborhood kids, family members, and members of the RPC congregation began to participate in the production. Their first show titled "Youth Talent show debuted on June 16 , 2009. The produced a "disco themed" talent show and also organized a dinner with the show. Guests who attended the performance received a full meal with entrance. Not only was their first performance sold out but there was a demand for more seats. Originally the show was set to only serve 96 guests.  However, the members of A.S.H. were able to accommodate for over 115 people. A few weeks questions arose from many people who attended the show. "Will there be another performance next year?" The Hillanbrand cousins were undecided on whether to continue or not. But over the summer they began planning another show and established a permanent name, A.S.H. Productions.

Although going through many difficulties, they began to produce a second show which was titled, Funhouse. This show was another "talent show" with a different theme. Anthony and Sabrina both wanted to out do their last production. During this year a Mission Statement was written by Kathryn Pyror for A.S.H. Also A.S.H. selected the bible verse, Isaiah 61: 3, as a guide for their program.  Once again a new variety of cast members including some from the previous season got together to practice for the next show.  Funhouse debuted on April 24, 2010 and was another successful sell out by the two cousins. This season, A.S.H. was officially established as an outreach ministry of Roxborough Presbyterian Church. During the summer of 2012 A.S.H. was asked by R.P.C. to organize and run the drama for their Vacation Bible School (V.B.S.) program. The V.B.S. program was called "The Egypt File" and was held at the church in August of 2010.
